The scheme was launched by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Govt. of Meghalaya to address critical issues of enabling & facilitating access to remunerative & sustainable markets for farmers produce in most transparent & effective manner through facilitation service iTEAM Dial 1917.
The scheme “Integrated Technology Enabled Agriculture Management System Or iTEAMS” was launched by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of Meghalaya to address the critical issues of enabling and facilitating access to remunerative and sustainable markets for farmers' produce in the most transparent and effective manner through facilitation service iTEAM Dial 1917, whereby farmers can be assisted on the following activities
- 12/6 Physical Connectivity to Markets.
- Access to input suppliers and bidders.
- Tailor-made advisory solutions on crops, Package of practices, Animal Health Care, etc.
- Assured logistics and Transport solutions at the rate of 0.20/kg/km.
- Livelihood options through leasing Agri Response Vehicle.
