About this social welfare scheme
This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the families of unregistered workers who die during construction work in Madhya Pradesh.
The scheme falls under the purview of the Labour Department of Madhya Pradesh. The scheme provides financial assistance in the form of funeral and ex-gratia payments to the legal heirs of unregistered construction workers who die during construction site work under the MP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. The deceased worker does not need to be registered with the Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
