- The applicant should not have any relation who can maintain him/her.
- The applicant should not have availed any pension from the State Government or Government of India.
Note:
- Provided that the State Government may relax the condition regarding residence where the condition causes undue hardship.

While verifying the age of the applicant for pension for weavers anyone of the documents like the Birth Registration Certificate, Horoscope ("Thikuji" "Kusti" of "Janampatrika"), certificate from a School, College or Secondary Board or any other recognised educational Institute, Certificate from the Sabhapati or a Panchayet Samity, Certificate from the Chairman of a Government Medical Officer amy be treated as a valid document for proof of age.
