About this education scheme
In order to provide financial assistance to meritorious students of Rajasthan to study in top foreign universities of the world. The scheme commenced from 5th October 2021.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan Sh. Ashok Gehlot announced this scheme on 20th August 2021 in commemoration of late Shri Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India. In order to provide financial assistance to meritorious students of Rajasthan to study in top foreign universities of the world.
Objective:
- To assist students of Rajasthan financially to pursue higher studies in the top 150 QS World Universities
- International exposure to students for their career development.
- To give priority to students having gross family income less than 8 lakh rupees/annum.
- To provide better opportunities to female students by earmarking 30 % seats (Income category-wise).

What you receive
- E1: Family gross annual income less than 8 Lakh
- E2: Family gross annual income 8 – 25 Lakh
- E3: Family gross annual income above 25 Lakh

(ii). Living Expenses: 12 Lakh Rupees.
(iii). One-time advance of Rs. 3 Lakh to candidates who will start their course after application on the portal (adjusted against living expenses).

Who qualifies
- Bonafide Resident of Rajasthan.
- Less than 35 years of age on 1st July 2023
- Admitted / Obtained offer letter in top 150 World QS ranked Universities as of 1st April, 2023
- All disciplines for UG, PG, PhD and Post Doc courses.
- Maximum 7.5 % seats ( 37 ) for Engineering, Architecture, Medical, Dentistry courses at UG level

Registration walkthrough

- Applicant to log in to RajSSO Portal using his/her SSOID.
- If SSOID is not available then the applicant to first register on RajSSO Portal to create SSOID and update SSO Profile at first login.
- After successful authentication/login and updation of the SSOID Profile and select the scheme name.
- Select his/her name, the bank account and fill in personal details.
- Upload required document
- Clicking the “SUBMIT” button.
- System will submit the application and a unique APPLICATION-ID will be presented to applicant.

1. Post Doc ( Max Course Duration: 1.5 Years.
2. Ph. D. ( Max Course Duration: 3 Years ).
3. PG ( Max Course Duration: 2 Years ).
4. UG ( Max Course Duration: 4Years ).
Which subjects are allowed in the Scheme?
1. For Post Doc/ PhD/PG/ UG, all subjects as prescribed by the top 1-150 QS World
ranking universities are allowed.
2. However, for Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry and Architecture at UG level top 1-150 QS World University Ranking should also be included in top 1-25 QS World .University Ranking subject wise.
Which documents are required to fill the application on portal?
1. Jan Aadhar Number.
2. Offer letter of the applicable foreign university
3. Bonafide/ Domicile certificate.
4. Gross family Income certificate.
5. Income Tax Return Proof.
6. Affidavit for not filing ITR.
7. 10th mark sheet.
8. Qualifying Degree, Mark sheet/Certificate of last passed exam.
8. Self Declaration for Scholarships/ financial help etc.from other sources.
9. Passport, if any.
10. Visa, if any.
11. Aadhar Number.
Which Universities are allowed in this scheme?
Top 150 QS World ranked universities available latest as on 1st April of that financial year are allowed.
Will the list of applicable universities change during opening to closing of the portal?
No, university list available as on 1st April of a financial year and as decided by the government will be applicable for the whole financial year.
Will this scholarship help in getting admission in foreign universities?
No, this scholarship scheme only provides financial assistance after getting admission in foreign university. For admission, applicants will have to make efforts on own. It is advised to visit the websites of the respective universities for admission details.

What do applicant need to login to the portal ?
Applicant need Janaadhar number and SSOID. Please get Janaadhar number and create a SSOID if not already available.
What will be the last qualifying exam document if I am applying for Post Doc?
It will be a PG degree.
Can applicant Edit the information already saved on the online portal and upto what time?
Applicants can always edit the information before final submission.
